Louis Garneau supports breast cancer activism with new helmet
Aug. 27, 2007 --
Press Relase: Louis Garneau proudly announces its campaign to help the fight against breast cancer by launching the Limited Edition Louis Garneau Ride Pink Helmet. The campaign’s motto, “A helmet can save your life, but this helmet can save the lives of others,” will be used to push sales as 100% of the profits will go directly to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. “Knowing that over 40,000 women will die from the disease this year was reason enough for us to step up and take action,” says Pierre Perron, Marketing Director for Louis Garneau USA.
The Louis Garneau Ride Pink Helmet comes complete with pink ribbon decals and the same level of technology found in all of Garneau’s Helmets. The patented Spiderlock Elite Stabilizing Device offers a one-hand quick and accurate adjustment allowing the user to adjust the helmet while keeping one hand on the bike. And not only does it adjust the fit around the head but also up and down at the back of the helmet to fit all head shapes and is ponytail friendly. An internal ringlock insures the helmet’s integrity on impact. The helmet also comes with a removable VX10 Visor, V-Lock Strap Position Adjustment, and Airdry Fusion padding.
The Louis Garneau Ride Pink Helmet is available through exclusive retailers and online at www.louisgarneau.com for $54.99.
