Press Release: Since moving to Boise in January 2006, BOB has experienced phenomenal growth on all levels. BOB’s new location, including a warehouse, offices and research and development facilities, is triple the size of BOB’s previous home in San Luis Obispo, CA. The BOB family of bike and stroller enthusiasts has also doubled, with plans to hire a number of additional employees in the next few months.
Sales are also booming, and now BOB is launching a new website at www.bobgear.com. The new site, created by local Boise advertising agency The Noot Group, showcases BOB products with state-of-the-art photography, graphics and videos. Some of the many features of this new site include:
360° images of stroller and trailer products. Visitors to the website can watch each product as it rotates in a complete circle, and by simply clicking on one of the color swatches, the viewer can see each product displayed in all available colors.
The website also features new videos and flash animation, which demonstrate product usage and features. Viewers can watch a jogger and her toddler easily maneuver along a bumpy path; see how the stroller folds up quickly and easily to be stored in compact spaces; examine BOB’s new 2007 seat recline in action; and explore several BOB stroller features that provide safety, durability, and comfort.
For the savvy consumer who does online research before purchasing at a local store, the Wish List feature allows browsers to select the products, accessories and colors they want, print them out, and bring it into their store of choice. The list includes part numbers, suggested retail pricing and product names and descriptions.
Also available to help consumers is a superior “Where to Buy” feature, which aides the consumer in pinpointing a BOB dealer within 50 miles of their zip or postal code, in their state or province, in a specific country, or to find an online retailer.
BOB dealers also benefit from this new site when they access a special Dealer Login page. This page provides dealers with valuable product details, BOB contact information and access to downloadable images.
