Only two days left for discount at Triathlon One O One Bradenton

March 13, 2007 -- Press Release: Athletes wishing to participate in the May 6 Triathlon One O One Bradenton being held in Bradenton, FL, have just a few days left to take advantage of the 50 percent registration discount offer which expires on March 15.

The newly announced Triathlon One O One series extended the discount on the $300 registration fee as part of the series kick-off and its Athletes First mission.

"We're very excited about the inaugural Triathlon One O One event in Bradenton and we're pleased to offer this discount as a thank you to athletes for supporting this new brand of triathlon racing", said Shannon Kurek, Executive Director of Triathlon One O One.

While the discount is valid through March 15, registration for the Bradenton race is open through April 23. Athletes can register for the Bradenton event or any other races in Triathlon One O One series at

All registrants will receive a Triathlon One O One-branded technical T-shirt, race visor, venue-specific poster, water bottle, entry to the welcome dinner and post-race party, as well as a custom finishers medal, T-shirt and beach towel.

In addition to the discount, early registrants will be enrolled as a Charter Member of the Triathlon One O One Club which entitles them to receive a 20 percent registration fee discount for life at all North American Triathlon One O One events in perpetuity.

The Triathlon One O One series launches on May 6 in Bradenton, Fla., with additional qualifying races in Clear Lake, CA on June 10, Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sept. 2 and culminating with the championship in The Woodlands, TX on Nov. 11. The 101.06-mile events, comprised of a 1.86mi (3km) swim, followed by an 80.6mi (130km) bike and an 18.6mi (30km) run, will feature both age group and professional athletes. Each qualifying event will offer a $50,000 professional prize purse and the championship a $150,000 professional prize purse.
