Total Training Center opens in Syosset, N.Y

March 22, 2007 -- Press Release: Sunday March 25th is the perfect opportunity to stop by the Total Training Center which is a cutting edge studio built with the sole purpose of helping individuals get the most from their time spent exercising. The open house will be from 2 PM to 5 PM and will have some fun raffles every 20 minutes and all who attend will be able to see the state of the art equipment and meet the staff to discuss exactly what TTC is all about.

What are some of the things that make TTC unique?

1. TTC utilizes one of the most advanced VO2 computerized equipment available with an integrated treadmill system for the most reliable & valid charting.  This is the unit utilized by many pro-athletic teams.
2. Functional movement screening (FMS): This is a 7 step test that detects imbalances and weaknesses which lead to “energy leaks”, suboptimal performance and injuries. We all have heard how important “core strength” is, yet which exercises are the important ones for you? FMS and TTC’s exercise prescription shows you what you need to do.
3. Pose running method, taught by certified Pose coaches. A safe, efficient & fast running technique which includes video analysis.
4. Computerized cycling analysis and training.
5. Individual nutritional analysis with our Registered Sports Nutritionist, determine what your specific goals and nutritional needs are.  Weight management programs.
6. Core strength and conditioning programs, utilizing state of the art equipment & techniques.
7. TTC was developed with the commitment that any effective program is enjoyable and should enhance your life. All TTC staff focuses on helping you “enjoy the journey”.

All Services are conducted by TTC’s professional staff.

North on South Oyster Bay Road (turns into Jackson Avenue, past Jerhico Tpk.)
After you cross the train tracks in Syosset stay on Jackson which bears slightly right over tracks and then slightly left (you will see a sign that says Jackson Ave when you need to bear left and there is a traffic light there as well). After you bear left at this light you will see the next traffic light less than 100 meters ahead. Turn left at that light which is Mutton Town Road. Take an immediate left into TTC’s parking lot. If you can not find a parking spot in the lot, there is plenty of parking on the adjoining roads, just check for any signs when you park regarding time limits, no parking areas etc.
