Triathlete magazine hires new online editor
San Diego, Calif. -- December 6, 2006 --
Triathlete magazine, the multisport industry's leading publication for feature profiles, news, training, race coverage, gear reviews and more has hired Brad Culp as online editor. Culp, who is currently finishing his journalism degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, interned with Triathlete magazine for four months last summer.
Culp is an age-group triathlete and has competed in numerous long- and short-course events, including Ironman Coeur d'Alene and Florida. "I'm a tri geek," says Culp. "To join the top magazine in the business is a dream come true, and I'm confident I'll be able to make a significant positive contribution to the editorial content of triathletemag.com."
"Triathlete and triathletemag.com continue to demonstrate tremendous growth, and to keep serving our valued readers with the industry's top online reporting, we felt it was time to create a position wholly dedicated to this vitally important aspect of the business," says Cameron Elford, Triathlete managing editor and interactive brand manager.
"Triathlete has always been the industry leader," says Triathlete publisher and CEO John Duke. "We recognize the trust our readers place in us, and, both in print and online, we strive to provide them with stories and information they simply can't find elsewhere."
